James Scott ('Jim') Obituary

James "Jim" Scott, Hermitage, born Dec. 29, 1954, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 70.

Jim was a devoted husband to his wife Pam, sharing nearly 50 years of marriage.

Together they raised three children: Ian (Lauren), Josh, and Sarah (Jeff). His greatest joy was being a grandfather to his four grandchildren Colin, Gino, Christian, and Sadie.

Jim is survived by his youngest brother, Larry (Brenda).

He was a graduate of West Middlesex High School, Thiel College and a member of the Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex.

Jim loved three things in life; the outdoors, Pittsburgh sports, and most of all his family. Family gatherings were a cornerstone of his life, whether it was holidays, birthdays, or everyday get-togethers. Jim never met a stranger and happily shared a story with anyone who would listen.

He leaves behind a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to come in contact with him. Jim was a legend and will be deeply missed.
