Grove City, Pennsylvania - James F. Morrison, 86, of Grove City, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Jim was born in Butler, on Dec. 8, 1938, to James W. "Web" and Catherine M. "Katie" (Foley) Morrison.

He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Dumbroski, on April 23, 1972.

Jim was raised in the Catholic faith and graduated from Grove City High School in 1957.

He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Jim was an outstanding athlete in football, basketball and track and he was inducted in the Mercer County Hall of Fame in 2006.

He retired in his mid-70s following a lengthy career as an independent paint and tile contractor in the local area. Previously, he was a printing press operator for the Pittsburgh Press.

Jim was an avid golfer, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and mostly spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, at home; a daughter, Jill (Steve Hassel) Morrison; a son, Michael (John Breslawski) Morrison; and two grandchildren, Cara and Michael Buccini.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joy Ellen Stemmerich.
