James Harold McFarland Jr., Campground Road, West Middlesex, passed away Feb. 15, 2025, in his residence with his family. He was 60.

He was born Nov. 30, 1964, in Sharon, a son to the late James and Rosemary Jones McFarland.

Jim married Margie M. Swope, and she survives at the residence.

He served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a graduate of High School and was a member of the Miracle Valley Church of Hermitage. Jim was employed at Shenango Municipal Authority in Maintenance.

Survivors include his wife, Margie of the residence; and a step-daughter, Brittany Shields, Cranberry Township; a step-son, Cory Shields, Transfer; a brother, Tim McFarland and a sister, Kelly Rochford, as well as three grandchildren, Darian, Sophia and Thor, completing the family.

Jim is preceded in death by a son, Cody McFarland in 2019 as well as step-son Zackary Shields in 2018.
