Hermitage, Pennsylvania - Henry "Hank" R. Mucroski, 94, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025, in UPMC Hospital, Greenville.

Mr. Mucroski was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Sharon, a son of the late Nicholas and Helen (Berkos) Mucroski.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Hank served on a destroyer during the Korean War.

For 42 years, he worked at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant as an electrical motor inspector in the finishing department.

Hank was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.

He was a 32nd Degree Free and Accepted Mason and member of Kedron Lodge, 389, West Middlesex. Hank was also a life member of Hermitage Volunteer Fire Dept.

Hank's favorite title in life was "Grandpa," cherishing every moment he spent with his grandchildren.

His beloved wife of 64 years, Janet (Sherwood) Mucroski, whom he married on Dec. 31, 1958, preceded him in death on May 4, 2023.

Hank is survived by two sons, Marc (Vicki) Mucroski, West Middlesex, and Doug (Shari) Mucroski, Howland, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Kyle (Marissa) and Emily Mucroski.

In addition to his wife and parents, Hank was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Deborah Anne Mucroski.
