Robertsdale, PA - Harry "Skip" Wilson May Jr, 88, of Mercer, passed away June 2, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1937, in Robertsdale, Pa,. to the late Harry Wilson May Sr. and Mary Rebecca (Cook) May.

Harry married Evelyn Jones on Feb. 16, 1978, and she survives him at the residence.

Harry was a Robertsdale High School graduate, and a member of the famous Robertsdale Tiger football dynasty, where they were undefeated for 28 consecutive games. At the time, this was a Pennsylvania record. He also loved baseball, and coached/umpired for Grove City Little League for several years alongside good friends. Harry was a member of Mercer United Methodist Church, RW & BT Fire Co., member and played for Broad Top Old Timers. Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Harry's many talents provided him with a variety of employment opportunities. Those include construction/heavy equipment operator, vehicle & tractor trailer mechanic, welder/fabricator, truckdriver, and service manager for truck stops in PA, OH, and FL. He was owner/operator of May's Fix-It Shop in Grove City, where he repaired radiators and did general repairs.

Survivors include wife, Evelyn; children, Brian (Becky) May and Sherrie Finley both of Mercer, Brenda (Gene) Barron of Three Springs, Pa., Kim (Larry) Snook of Ocala, Fl., James (Heather Owen) May of Sharon, Christopher May of Huntingdon, Pa., Nikki May of Central, Ms., Catherine Garcia of Jersey Shore, Pa.; sister, Patricia Altobelli of Huntingdon, Pa.; brother, Brian (Diana) May of James Creek, Pa.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charles May, and Judith Wright.
