Hermitage, PA - Harold E. Shockey, 91, of Hermitage, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
Mr. Shockey was born on July 21, 1934, in Friedens, a son of the late Orville and Violet (Yoder) Shockey. He was a 1952 graduate of Shanksville High School, Friedens.
A lifelong truck driver, Harold drove for more than 40 years for the former Cooper-Jarrett Trucking and Gribble Trucking out of Rockwood, Pa.
Harold was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon.
He enjoyed going camping, hunting and fishing. A talented crafter, he liked doing ceramics and was a skilled glass cutter and stained-glass designer.
Additionally, he was a bingo caller at the campgrounds where he stayed.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, the former Marlene Karen Holt, whom he married on June 3, 1956; two sons, Randy Shockey (Debra), of Toledo, Ohio; and Rodney Shockey (May), of Sharon; a granddaughter, Jessica Shockey Gerogosian (Greg); two great-grandchildren, Cody and Erin Gerogosian; and a sister, Linda Watkins, of Somerset.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Coslic and Shirley Horne.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, 396 Buhl Blvd., Sharon, PA 16146.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
