Gloria J. Hilko
Gloria J. Hilko, 82, of Hermitage, passed away late Sunday evening, June 21, 2026, in Quality Life Services, New Castle.
Mrs. Hilko was born on Nov. 16, 1943, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Mizner) Pullar.
A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1961.
Primarily a homemaker, Gloria dedicated her life to caring for her family and their home.
In her spare time, she enjoyed completing word search puzzles, crafting embroidery and playing Bingo with her family.
Gloria was a member of Orangeville Baptist Church in Sharpsville.
Her beloved husband of 62 years, Joseph P. "Joe" Hilko, whom she married on June 16, 1962, preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 2024.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Mildred Pegg, of Wheatland; two sons, Robert Hilko (Roberta), of Sharpsville; and Michael Hilko (Samantha Gregory), of Hermitage; five grandchildren, Denise Snyder (Josh), David Pegg Jr. (Erin Auxier), Debra Pegg, Ross Carlo (Loralie) and Robert Carlo; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pullar; and a sister, Marie Orndorff.
Gloria will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family suggests memorial donations be directed to Orangeville Baptist Church, 7600 Orangeville Road, Sharpsville, PA 16150.

Visitation: 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday (6-30-26) in First Baptist Church of Sharon, 301 W. State St., Sharon.
Funeral service: 6 p.m. Tuesday in the church, with Pastor Harley Williams officiating.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
