Pulaski, Pa. - Geraldine Louise Schwartz, of Gearhart Road, Pulaski, Pa., passed away Friday evening, Dec. 12, 2025, in her residence. She was 99.
She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Neshannock Falls, Lawrence County, to Harvey R. Miller and Mary Amelia Detweiler.
She married Edward Harry Schwartz July 6, 1946, and he preceded her in death Jan. 4, 2002.
Geraldine was a 1945 graduate of Wilmington High School and was a lifelong member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church.
She was a talented quilter with the ladies at Neshannock Church. She took great pride in mowing her lawn well into her 90 years of life. She was a homemaker and raised five children.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda DeSilvey, Carol Roth and Joyce Hites, all living in Shenango Township, Mercer County, and a son, Dennis Schwartz, Wheatland, and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Schwartz of Shenango Township, Mercer County. Thirteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren complete the family. She also is survived by a sister, Rudelle Matthews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Geraldine is preceded in death by a son, Edward (Eddie) Schwartz, a granddaughter, Krista Roth, a brother, Marvin Miller, three sisters, Marjorie Shantz, Norma Shantz and Virginia Hess, as well a daughter-in-law, Cindy Schwartz and sons-in-law, Dennis DeSilvey and Tim Hites.
