Jackson Township, OH - George M. Kemper, age 85, of Jackson Township, Ohio, passed away Jan. 18, 2026, at Summa Akron City Hospital.

He was born June 21, 1940, in Sharon, the son of the late George and Amelia (Madsen) Kemper.

George loved basketball and was a member of the 1957 Sharon Tigers state championship team. He attended Iowa State University and obtained his engineering degree, then worked for Goodyear for many years. He was always happiest when spending time with family.

George is survived by his son, George (Kim) Kemper Jr.; daughters Deborah (Joseph) Kunzon, Jennifer (Anthony) Siebers, Kathryn (Matthew) Webster; thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judithe H. Kemper, and his sister, Carolyn Kirby.
