Mercer, PA - George Donald Barr, Jr., 71, of Mercer, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
He was born on Sept. 29, 1953, in Grove City, to George Donald Barr, Sr. and Lois June (Perrine) Barr.
George formerly worked at Baglier in Sharon.
Surviving is his wife, Jackie Barr at home; five children, Brandon Barr, George Barr, Tabitha Barr, Justin Barr and Summer Barr; three step-children, Casandra Van Hoose, Brad Maynard and Shane Maynard; one sister, Audrey Sue Ketcham in Grove City; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His parents and one brother, David Barr, preceded George in death.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday (7-18-25) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, INC., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, 16137.
Funeral service: 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Tina Keller officiating.
Burial: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
