Gary A. "Big Gary" Mallin, 417 New Castle Ave., Sharon, died at 8:06 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. He was 52. Born April 3, 1958, Big Gary will be loved and missed by family and friends. He had worked for A & M Specialties, Wheatland. Big Gary loved being out in the woods and taking pictures of nature. He loved to draw and paint. He is survived by his wife, Darla Bacon, and his children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. A wake to celebrate his life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday (10-23-10) at The Zoo, 361 N. Water Ave., Sharon.
