Gary Allie, 80, of Hermitage, passed away Nov. 26, 2024, at The Grove at New Wilmington after an extended illness.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Nov. 1, 1944, to Joseph and Josephine (Gardechi) Allie.

Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He worked for Reed Oil in New Castle in their sales department for 20 years.

Gary enjoyed winter camping, reading, shooting, sailing, traveling to the New England states and spending time with his family.

Gary married the former Diane McKinsey on July 10, 1971. She survives at home. Also surviving are two sons, Jarrod Allie, Hermitage, and Clint (Nealie) Allie, Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Carol Mondi, Portsmith, Ohio; a brother, Robert (Karen) Allie, Pittsburgh; two step-grandchildren, Logan Mondi and Ellie Appleman, of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
