Frederick A. "Fred" Obituary

Frederick "Fred" A. Dresch, of 386 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, passed away peacefully at 4:13 p.m. Friday (3-22-13) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. He was 57. Fred was born in Sharon on Jan. 18, 1956, the son of the late Alfred Dresch and Eleanor Jane Adams Dresch, who survives him. He was a 1975 graduate of Sharon High School and an a 1977 graduate of Williamsport Area Community College, with a degree in applied science. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon. He worked as a dishwasher at Jess's Restaurant in Hermitage. Previously he worked at the former Suburban restaurant and at the Hickory Grille, both in Hermitage. Fred enjoyed playing golf, swimming and fly fishing. He was a volunteer at the former Buhl Club, now known as the Buhl Community Recreation Center, Sharon. Besides his mother, with whom he made his home, he is survived by a sister, Barbara Kormos and her husband, John, of Jamestown and his brother, Robert Dresch and his wife, Tina, of Palmdale, Calif., along with his niece, Jennifer Kormos.
