Frank J. Swetlech, Shenango Township, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was 78.

Born in Sharon Sept. 3, 1946, Frank was the son of the late Frank and Madeline Baumgartner Swetlech.

He was preceded in death Dec. 21, 2019, by his wife, the former, Donna Fecik. They were married June 3, 1972.

Frank retired after 30 years of service at GM in Lordstown, where he was an assembly line worker.

Frank was in the Army Reserve and was a former member of Kedron Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Frank is survived by his son, Joshua Swetlech, Shenango Township; a daughter, Lauren and Mark Sapko, State College, Pa.; four grandchildren, Chloe, Eva, Maya and Violet Sapko ;and a brother, Rick Swetlech of Gilbert, Ariz.

Calling hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (3-15-25) in the HAROLD W. STEVENSON FUNERAL HOME, 264 E. State St., Sharon.

Service: 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Interment: St. John's Orthodox Cemetery, Hermitage.

Arrangements were entrusted to the JOSEPH A. TOMON Jr. FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY.
