Farrell, PA - Erma Mona Henlen, 63, of Farrell, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2025, in the emergency room at UPMC Horizon — Shenango Valley.

She was born on Jan. 30, 1962, in Warren, Ohio, to Peter Hionas and Olympia (Chrisopoulos) Hionas.

Mona was a waitress at West Middlesex Diner for over 30 years and attended St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio.

She enjoyed walking her dogs and spending time with her family.

Erma is survived by her son, Peter (Kristina) Henlen of Transfer; sister, Maria Vournous of Hermitage; a niece, Anna (George) Kranias and their daugher, Antigoni; a nephew, Peter (Jonica) Vournous; and their children, Maria, John and Jimmy.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Martin "Mike" Henlen; her parents, Peter and Olympia Hionas; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Vournous; and a nephew, John Vournous.


Services: Private, in keeping with Mona's wishes.
