Edward C. Tibor
Edward C. Tibor Jr, 73, of Stoneboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at his home.
Ed was born in Grove City on June 18, 1946, to the late Edward C.
Tibor Sr. and Gladys I. Petty Tibor.
He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.
Ed married his beloved wife, Pamela Oddi Tibor, on Dec. 20, 1969, she preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 2017.
Ed was best known for his time as a Taekwondo instructor. He was an instructor for many years and once owned a school with his wife Pam in Charleston, S.C.
He was also a talented woodworker and enjoyed cooking and entertaining, especially with his family. He was an active member of Sandy Lake Sportsman's Club for over 40 years and enjoyed hunting deer.
Ed is survived by his brothers, James Tibor of Cortland, Ohio, and companion Karen Counselman of Franklin, John Tibor of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother-in-law Kim Oddi and wife Connie of Sandy Lake; nephew James Tibor Jr.; great-nephew Jacob Tibor of Silver Plume, Colo.; niece Tressa (David) Snyder of Hadley; nephew Ben (Shannon) Oddi of Mars, and niece Gina (Keith) Tagliferri of Mercer.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
