Edward Beader Obituary
Hermitage, Pa - Edward Beader, 93, of Hermitage, passed away following a brief illness on Monday evening, Sept. 29, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.
Mr. Beader was born on Aug. 30, 1932, in Sharon, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Vukelja) Beader. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1952 to 1956.
Upon his honorable discharge in 1956, he began working at Sawhill Tubular Division, Wheatland, retiring in 1994.
His wife, the former Joan Dyll, whom he married on Feb. 15, 1958, passed away on July 4, 2025.
He is survived by three wonderful children, Mark Beader, of Albuquerque, N.M., Karen B. Piccirilli and her husband, Paul, of Hermitage, and Joni Beader, of Hermitage; two beloved grandchildren, Chelsea Phillian and her husband, Brandon, and Chad Piccirilli and his wife, Brianna; and four great-grandchildren, Braelyn and Beckett Phillian, and Cecilia and Emilia Piccirilli. Also surviving are two siblings, Marion (Baker) Dettman, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Frank Beader and his wife, Mary Lee, of Burghill, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Rose Beader, of Sharpsville.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ed was preceded in death by four brothers, William "Bill" (Mary), John, George and Robert "Bob" Beader; two sisters, Katherine "Katie" (Joseph) Kruszewski, and Pauline (John) Balash; and a brother-in-law, William Baker.
