Donna L. Focht Obituary

There will be services at 7 p.m. Friday for Donna L. Focht, of Hubbard, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House after a seven-year battle with cancer. She was 62.

During her battle with cancer she showed a love of life and never felt sorry for herself; she was truly an inspiration to her family.

Donna was born March 9, 1954, in Sharon, a daughter of Robert and Helen Louise McNamara.

She attended grade school at Immaculate Heart of Mary and was a 1972 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.

She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, music, and watching Law and Order and Jeopardy.

Donna will be sadly missed by her family: her husband, Clayton J. Focht, whom she married July 2, 1988; her mother, Helen L. McNamara, Youngstown; her children Aaron D. Fischer, Niles; Brooke A. Fischer, Hubbard; her grandchildren, Darcy Young, Clayton Spuck, and Reagan Fischer; a brother, Robert (Barbara) McNamara, Baltimore, Md.; her nephew, Justin McNamara, her niece Jennifer McNamara and a cousin, Rogan McNamara, Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her father and by her stepmother, Dottie McNamara.
