Fredonia, Pennsylvania - Debra Lynn Shardy, 70, of Fredonia, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
She was born in Sharon, on Dec. 22, 1955, to John and Evalyn Cameron Shaffer.
She married Ronald Shardy on Aug. 8, 1988, he survives at home. Also surviving are her children, John William Shardy Jr. (Kelly) and Monica Lee Shardy (Shawn) both of Fredonia; two sisters, Sandra Porterfield of Sharpsville; andDianne (Bruce) Tate of Sharpsville; a brother James Edward Shaffer of Sharpsville; seven loving grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a very close friend who was like a son to our mother, Timothy Shaw.
Debra was a professional housekeeper.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Grace Davis and Joanne Fisher; and brother Wilbur "Butch" Shaffer.
SHARDY

A private family service was observed on Monday (5-11-26) at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Mercer County.
