Hermitage, PA - Dean Robert Flowers Jr., 91, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Jan. 30, 2026.

Dean was born April 13, 1934, to Helen (Cannon) and Dean Robert Flowers Sr. in Hermitage.

He was a 1952 graduate of Hickory High School and served in the Navy.

On Oct. 8, 1960, he married his wife, Lois (Lurtz) Flowers, who passed away in 1995.

His career was spent working with his father Dean Sr., brother Gerald and nephews Gary and Gene at the family business, Flowers Radio and TV.

Dean was known for his smile, reassuring demeanor and devotion to his family. He had the ability to fix anything with a calm and logical approach.

He loved when his home was overflowing with family, riding on his John Deere tractor and solving number puzzles.

He will be remembered for his kind nature and never taking a bad picture.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Karen Flowers (Mark Faldowski) of Mantua, Ohio; sons, Dale Flowers (Michele Fuller) of San Jose, Calif.; and Keith Flowers (Allison Flowers) of Grove City; and his grandchildren, Natasha, Nikolai, Lindsey, Morgan, Lydia and Elana, who Dean adored.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Flowers; brother, Gerald Flowers; and sisters, Norma (Flowers) Miller and Ruth Flowers.

Calling hours: 1 to 3 p.m. Friday (2-6-26) in the SHERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 2201 Highland Road, Hermitage.

Funeral services: 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Burial: Private, at Morefield Cemetery, next to his wife.
