David Helberg III, 25, of Transfer, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Center after being in an accident Sunday.
He was born April 6, 1999, in Greenville, the son of David Helberg II and Melissa Brady Helberg.
He graduated from Reynolds High School and MCC as a machinist.
He was a foreman for G.S. Kusich Construction.
David loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but most of all spending time with his son.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa Helberg, and stepfather, Steven Frantz, of Transfer; his fiancée, Jordyn Trott, and his son, David Helberg IV, both of Greenville; two sisters, Katelyn Riley of Transfer and Danielle Riley of Mercer; two brothers, Kaden Frantz and Steven Frantz Jr., both of Transfer; maternal grandmother, Robin Showman, and paternal grandmother, Theresa Helberg, both of Orangeville.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Helberg II; grandfathers, David Helberg I, and Ernest Brady; and uncles, Joey and Ernest Brady.

Services: 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
