Daniel Lee Baer, Jr., Conneaut Lake (Sadsbury Twp.) passed away early Tuesday morning, August 24, 2021, at the Crawford County Care Center. He was 72.
He was born in Grove City on September 2, 1948. In his early years he had been raised in the West Middlesex area. He had enlisted in the U S Army serving dutifully and honorably as a military policeman during the Vietnam War. He later served as a Pennsylvania Constable and was a member of the Fallowfield Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Baer was proud of his military service and was honored in 1999 to be selected as the first military policeman to have the privilege to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
VISITATION: 6:00 - 7:00 pm. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville
FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, (08/27) in the funeral home at 7:00 pm
INTERMENT: Millbank Cemetery.
