New Wilmington, PA - Clyde Eugene Bowen, 87, of New Wilmington, passed away on June 3, 2026, at Orchard Manor nursing home, Grove City.

He was born Oct. 26, 1938, in East Lackawannock Township, Mercer County, to the late Clyde and Lois Hamilton Bowen Sr.

Clyde graduated from Mercer High School and served his country in the Army Reserves.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Woods of Mercer; Dianne (Wayne) Garrett of New Wilmington; and Sue Taggert of North Carolina; two sons, James Bowen of New Wilmington; and Alan Bowen of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren who complete the family.

In addition to his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ronald Woods; and a great-grandson, Kaiden Kakiou.

Interment: Neshannock Cemetery, New Wilmington.
