Catherine "Kay" Zupo, 98, of Farrell, passed away Sunday evening, April 6, 2025, in Windsor House at O'Brien Memorial, Masury, Ohio.

Kay was born on March 21, 1927, in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Ralph and Pauline (Zito) Zupo. She was a 1945 graduate of Farrell High School.

Following graduation, at the age of 18, she began working as a cashier in the office of the former Northside Furniture Co. until 1950.

Kay then worked in the payroll and incentive departments of Sharon Steel Corp.'s former Farrell plant, retiring in 1982 with 32 years of service.

Growing up in Farrell, she had many fond memories of family and friends and being a devout member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, where she was an integral part of the church alongside Msgr. Geno Monti for many years.

Her church, Catholic faith and family were her true passion. A loving and devoted daughter and sister, being there for family was her biggest attribute.

As the final surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, James, Samuel, Frank, Guy and Guido Zupo.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial: 1 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, with Fr. Glenn Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
