Carole Louise (Santell) Bertolasio, 82, passed away peacefully on her birthday Dec. 27, 2024, with her family at her side.

Carole was born Dec. 27, 1942, in Sharon, to Vincent and Veronica (Nashtock) Santell.

After her graduation in 1962 from Sharon High School, Carole went to work for Packard Electric then Delphi Motors and retired after 35 years of service.

After retirement, Carole enjoyed many years of travel. Some of her most memorable trips were to Tucson, Ariz., to visit her daughter Christa; son-in-law, Jim; and grandchildren Veronica; and Sydney.

She also spent many hours babysitting her grandchildren Luca and Giada. Carole's greatest joys were her grandchildren. She attended countless concerts, recitals, and athletic games with pride.

Carole was also an avid pet lover and walking her Boston Terrier Murphy was one of her favorite pastimes.

Carole is survived by her son, Frank David Bertolasio; his wife Rachel; and their two children, Luca; and Giada Bertolasio; grandchildren, Veronica; and Sydney Sims.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christa Dunch Sims; brother, Vincent Santell; sisters, Gloria Young; and Rosana Negrea.

It was Carole's wish to be cremated. The family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date to celebrate her life.
