New Castle, Pa - Bruce Anton Herster, 82, of Clover Lane, New Castle, passed away at The Grove Nursing Home, New Castle, on May 30, 2025.
Born in Sharon to the late Antun Joseph and Lillian I. Peters Herster, he was a faithful member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Mercer.
Bruce retired from GATX General American after many faithful years as a welder.
Survivors include five children, Holly (Joe) Sulick, Heidi (James) "Chip" Patterson, Bruce (Julie) Herster, and Hilary Herster, all of Sharon, and Heather (Craig) Schell of Sharpsville; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife Judy, Bruce is preceded in death by a brother Douglas.
HERSTER
Bruce Anton, 82, Clover Lane, New Castle.
Visitation: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday (6-5-25) at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Mercer.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Rev. Augie Hurst officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
