Mercer, PA - Brian Keith Daniels, 52, of Mercer, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital, surrounded by the love and care of his family.

He was born on Jan. 22, 1974, in Sharon, the youngest son of Russell and Margaret (Weber) Daniels.

Brian was a 1992 graduate of West Middlesex High School. During his time there, he was active in marching band and athletics, playing both basketball and baseball. He also made school history by recording the first hole-in-one in the high school's golf program.

Following high school, Brian briefly attended DeVry University in Columbus before beginning a long and hardworking career in the local steel industry.

Over the years he worked at Jugenheimer's, T. Bruce, and Sharon Tube before eventually joining Duferco, which later became NLMK in Farrell. Brian spent nearly 16 years there as an Overhead Crane Operator, where he was known for being a good worker and his camaraderie.

Brian married Shelly Daniels (Davis) on Sept. 21, 2019, and they have been inseparable since.

He lived life fully and unapologetically. The kind of man that is rarely seen without his cowboy boots, jeans, and hat, no matter the occasion. He found joy in the simple things, whether it was hunting with his sons, cooking for the people he loved, traveling with his wife of eight years, playing with his dogs, or being "Papa" to his granddaughters, who were the apple of his eye.

Brian's humor filled every room he walked into. He had a playful, teasing, and stubborn spirit, with a personality that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

He will be reunited in Heaven with his sister, Tracey Bell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shelly Daniels; sons, William Daniels (Lola) and Robert Daniels (Sarah); step-child, Quincy Holdson (Zoe); beloved granddaughters, Tracey Daniels, Gabriella Daniels, and Emmalynne Daniels; and an expected grandson, Stetson Daniels. He is also survived by his parents, Russell and Margaret Daniels; his brother, Gary Daniels (Allen), and a brother-in-law Ron Bell (Kathy).

A son, a brother, a husband, a daddy, and a papa. Brian will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
