Brenda Marie Branca, 72, of Farrell, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Ms. Branca was born on Dec. 11, 1952, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose Marie (Fazzalore) Branca. She attended the former Our Lady of Fatima Parochial Grade School and was a 1970 high school graduate.

Brenda worked at Roemer Industries, Masury, Ohio, the former National Malleable and Steel Castings, Sharon, before beginning a 30-year career as a mail carrier in Farrell for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2012.

Brenda was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.

An avid sports fan, she was a faithful supporter of Farrell athletics and all the Pittsburgh sports teams. Brenda also looked forward to breakfast and luncheons with her former postal workers and high school friends, especially her best friend, Maria (Mike) Waechter. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family at gatherings for the holidays and special occasions. Additionally, Brenda was an avid reader and loved her kindle.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles (Bonnie) Branca, and James (Debra) Branca, both of Farrell.

Her entire world was spending time with her nieces, Amy (Ed) Turosky, and Abby (Robert) States, both of Hermitage; her nephews, James (Yvonne) Branca Jr., of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jordan (Heather) Branca, of Warren, Ohio; her great-nephews, Tanner and Ty Turosky, Parker, Carson and Landry States, Jax and Jake Branca, Carsyn Ray and Arrow Branca; and a great-niece, Jemma Branca.

Mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. Tuesday (4-15-25) at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Rev. Glenn Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Farrell.
