Belinda Jo Wilson, 65, of West Salem Township, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on Thursday morning, April 27, 2023.
She was born May 16, 1957, in Grove City to the late Robert and Doris (Hilgar) Webster.
Belinda was a 1975 graduate of Grove City High School, received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Thiel College and her master's degree in elementary guidance counseling from Edinboro University.
She was employed at Reynolds Elementary School for 30 years, which included a couple years as a teacher, but most of her tenure as a guidance counselor, for which she had a great passion.
She loved her job and also served as the girls' golf coach at Reynolds, and most recently as an assistant coach at Hickory.
Belinda was an avid golfer and played in several leagues, as well as a member at Bronzewood Golf Club in Kinsman, Ohio.
She was also a member of the Greenville Area Community Theatre (GACT).
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, traveling and reading books, and belonged to a local book club.
To sum it all up, Belinda simply lived life to the fullest.
Belinda is survived by her husband, R. Kent McGill. They were married on May 12, 2018.
Also surviving are two daughters, Megan John and her husband, Travis, of Greenville; and Bonnie Studor and her husband, Robert, of Hermitage; two sons, Douglas Wilson and his wife, Danielle, of Greenville; and Matthew Wilson and his wife, Lindsey, of Richmond, Texas; a stepson, Caleb McGill and his wife, Rebecca, of Grove City; a stepdaughter, Alicia McGill and her husband, Kenny Bluska, of Erie; nine grandchildren, Ryan Wilson, Nyla Studor, Maverick John, Rivers Bluska, Harlow Bluska, Quinn Studor, Mila John, Laken McGill and Cali McGill; four sisters, Bonnie O'Neil and her husband, Jim; Barb Cook and her husband, Don; Beverly Pas and her husband, John; and Betsy Sample and her husband, Mike, all of Grove City; a brother, Robert Webster and his wife, Teri, of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard M. Wilson.
