Beatrice V. Conover, Perrine Road, Hadley (Sandy Creek Township) passed away Friday (7-29-16) in UPMC Passavant, McCandless Township, Allegheny County. She was 76.

She was born June 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Berkley and Frieda (Bennett) Brindle.

On Nov. 19, 1955, she married Lawrence "Sonny" Conover, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2014.

Bea was a homemaker and a talented artist who enjoyed painting, ceramics and crafts. She owned and operated Ye Olde Homestead Gallery in Fairview Township, where she would exhibit and sell her many pieces of artistic designs.

She was a member of the Sheakleyville United Methodist Church and had served on the Election Board for Sandy Creek Township. She enjoyed the moments she was able to share with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, David Lee Conover and his wife Barbara of Hadley; Bryon Vance Conover of Greenville and Larry James Conover of Atlantic; four grandchildren Emily, Jessica, Ryon and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Zoey, Collier, Aiden, Sophie and Maverick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Elizabeth, who raised her after the death of her mother; a brother, Charles Brindle; and two sisters, Dorothy Cirillo and Rose Travaglini.
