Barbara Ann Vamosi, 70, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2024, in the Hospice House Poland, Ohio.
Barbara was born Aug. 23, 1953, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Edna (Sheriff) and Thomas Brinkley. She was a graduate of Reynolds High School in 1971 and Edinboro University in 1975.
On Oct. 16, 1976, she married her husband Dan Vamosi, who survives at home.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church in Sharpsville. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, and helping others.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (Elaine) Vamosi and their children, Cruz, Carson, and Chance; Trisha Vamosi (and Jessi Santos-Arana) and their child, Avellana Santos-Vamosi; and Dylan (Emily) Vamosi. Also surviving are siblings George Brinkley, Sheila Hnida, and Tom Brinkley.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday (3-1-24) at DONALDSON-MOHNEY FUNERAL HOME, 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday (3-1-24) at the funeral home, with Father Richard Allen officiating.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery Sharpsville.
