Barbara Hegadus Obituary
Barbara Hegedus, 82, of Cortland, Ohio, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Sharon, the daughter of John and Mary Chrash Fecik.
She graduated from Trumbull Business College and went to work for Wollam Chevrolet. She retired from there as the office manager.
Barbara was a member of the Twin State Auto Club.
She and her husband went to local racing and to NASCAR races. She was a great Earnhardt fan.
She married George Hegedus in November 1961. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2005.
She is survived by a brother, John (Stephanie) Fecik, of Florida; a brother-in-law, Frank Swetlich of West Middlesex; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Swetlich.

Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday (3-23-23) in GALLOWAY-ONSTOTT FUNERAL HOME, 3451 State Route 7, Hartford, Ohio.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron McIlvaine officiating.
Burial: Crown Hill Memorial Park.
