., Pennsylvania - Barbara Lee Anthony, 88, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, following an extended illness.

Born in Rimersburg, Barbara was the daughter of the late Ray and Ruth Hetrick.

On June 14, 1956, she married the love of her life, Ted Anthony, with whom she shared nearly 70 years of marriage.

Barbara treasured time spent with her family and beloved pets. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those she loved.

For more than 50 years, Barb worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block. She enjoyed her coworkers and looked forward each year to reconnecting with her many loyal clients.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Ted Anthony; her three children, Caryl Dexter of Sharon; Rick (Carrie) Anthony of Howland Township, Ohio; and Randy Anthony of New Wilmington; her sister, Jeri (Joe) Klepfer; her brothers, Terry (Bonnie) Hetrick and Jack Hetrick; four grandchildren, Ryan (Jolynn) Rodemoyer, Eric Rodemoyer, Jason (Kate) Anthony and Justin (Ashley) Anthony; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Hetrick.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Hillman Cancer Center for the exceptional care, compassion and support they provided throughout the last three-and-a-half years of her illness.
