Hermitage, Pa. - Anita L. Andrusky, 86, of Hermitage, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 19, 2025, after a brief illness. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma, great-grandma and team Mom.

Anita was born in Jackson Center on May 3, 1939, at the home of her parents, Ernest W. and Emma Louise (McCarl) Schulz.

Married in 1957, her family was her pride and joy, as was the home she shared with her husband of 62 years, Marvin "Andy" (deceased, 2019).

She enjoyed traveling, dancing, ballgames, playing cards and board games, growing flowers, tending to her house plants, long car rides through the countryside and visiting with her friends, many of them lifelong. Oh, and a good dish of ice cream.

Anita is survived by her three children: daughters, Michelle R. Shipton, Hermitage (son-in-law Donald, Greenville); Melissa F. Andrusky, Hermitage; and son Adam W. Andrusky, Hermitage; as well as two brothers: Larry Schulz and wife Judy, Jackson Center, and Richard "Dick" Schulz (wife, Linda, deceased) of Stoneboro; seven grandchildren, Danielle (husband Jess), Sierra, Dylan (wife Julia), Natalie, Ariana, Trey and Devin; and six great-grandchildren, Zhoe, Sophie, Sydnie, Craigen, Atalie and Franklin.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Donna Mae Davidson Ivers.
