Andrew G. Harkulich ('Drew') Obituary

Farrell, Pa. - Andrew G. "Drew" Harkulich, Farrell, found peace in God's embrace on Tuesday morning, July 1, 2025. He was 58.

Andy was born March 19, 1967, in Sharon, a son of Andrew and Theresa L. (Salatino) Harkulich.

A lifelong area resident, he was a 1985 graduate of Kennedy Christian High School in Hermitage.

As a young man, Andy worked as a chef at Ponderosa in Hermitage which instilled his lifelong passion of cooking for family and friends, especially during the holidays. He then worked as a landscaper for Seasonal Services in Hermitage, and as a mill worker at Chevron Services in Mercer. For the last 25 years, Andy has worked at Wheatland Tube, most recently as a manager in the storeroom. He was also a member and past president of USW Local 1660, Farrell.

A man dedicated to service and community, Andy was currently serving on the city council of Farrell, and was also a chairperson for the Democratic party. He served as head trustee and president of Twin City Elks 301, and actively volunteered with youth sports as a coach and booster, all in Farrell.

Andrew was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell.

A devoted father, he was always present to support his daughter, Kaeyla, at every swim meet, cheerleading event, softball and soccer game, and danceline event.

Andy was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys, North Carolina Tarheels, and Farrell Steelers fan — a tradition he started with his uncle, Jack. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, swimming, bowling, and playing golf. Andy always looked forward to traveling with family and friends to Atlantic City or to attend sporting events.

Andy is survived by his daughter, Kaeyla Harkulich, Farrell; a sister, Michelle Wolf (Robert); and a niece, Sofie Wolf, all Sharpsville; a goddaughter, Oriana Smith; his best friend, Robert Butler (Amie); a sister-in-law, Jessica McLean; a brother-in-law, Jason Page; his mothers-in-law, Evelyn and Betty; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
