Robert J. "Bob" Fritch, formerly of Hermitage, passed away at Methodist Heart Hospital, San Antonio, Texas, Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, following a brief illness. He was 67.
Bob was born April 4, 1950, in Youngstown, to John and Grace Fritch.
He worked as a security guard for many years at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio, and as a foreman for GM in Lordstown.
Bob was a graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, and earned a degree in criminal justice at Penn State. He was a founding member of the Hubbard Wing Snappers, a model airplane club. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and helicopters, music and spending time with family.
Robert is survived by his wife of 25 years, Diane Fritch; his children, Jason Fritch, Ryan Fritch and Amy Justice; his stepchildren, Sharon Stauts and Beverly Sizgorich; grandchildren, Lucy and Oliver; and stepgrandchildren, Timothy and Samuel. Also surviving are his siblings and in-laws, Sandy and Charles Bonstelle, Carole and Bill Meier and Gary and Shannon Fritch.
His parents and his brother, David, preceded him in death.
