Kevin Amon Hart, 44, of Cabot, Ark., passed from this life on July 16, 2017, in Cabot.
He was born June 14, 1973, in Bluffton, Ind., to Richard Wayne Hart and Bonita Maxine Shaw.
After graduating from Lakeview High School in Stoneboro, Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and began a distinguished military career that spanned 21 years and included tours of duty in Japan, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Afghanistan and Iraq.
For his devoted and outstanding service across three decades, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, six Air Force Commendation Medals and countless other personal and unit awards.
Kevin retired from active duty at Little Rock Air Force Base in March 2013.
Embarking on his second career, he earned a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degree from Arkansas State University in 2016.
Kevin taught kindergarten at Stagecoach Elementary in Cabot during the 2016-2017 academic year. Students and parents alike appreciated the devotion he showed as he strived to be the best teacher he could be. His students knew he cared about them, and they adored him.
Kevin was a deacon at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church as well as a devoted husband and father. He was also a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Michelle Mangrum Hart; three children, Lindsey, Major and Veronica; his mother, Bonita (Brian) Shaw; three sisters, Lisa (Tobias) Ensele, Melissa (Travis) Reynolds and Janelle Hart (Matthew Watts). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather, Lewis Hart; and maternal grandparents, Donald Amon and Betty Amon.
