Charlie R.'s Story
Charlie R. Keller, of Sharon, died at 2:55 a.m. Sunday (July 2, 2017) at Nugent's Convalescent Home, Hermitage, after an extended illness. He was 87.
Charlie was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Bay Springs, Miss., a son of Sil and Ruby (Pickens) Keller.
He married Judy (Hilton) Keller on May 29, 1954.
Charlie worked as a laborer for 15 years at National Castings, Sharon, and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Charlie enjoyed fishing, drawing and watching and videoing nature.
He was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Farrell, where he was an associate pastor and a musician for the church.
Charlie is survived by: his wife; three daughters, Pamela Jones of Sharon, Cynthia Keller of Elgin, Texas, Nelda Boulding of Beaver Falls; four sons, Charlie F. Keller of Sharon; Sidney Crosby of Port Arthur, Texas, Eugene Keller of Elgin, and Leslie Keller of Sharon; three sisters, Winnie Campbell of Farrell, Minne Keller of Wheatland, and Annie Keller of Tennessee; five brothers, Sil Keller, Eugene Keller and Melvin Keller, all of Chicago, and Hosey Keller and Namon Keller, both Mississippi; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter, Clarice King; a grandson, Leslie Keller; and three brothers, Samuel, Benjamin and Elbert Keller.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church with Rev. T. Harrison and Military Honors by Wheatland West Middlesex Honor Guard.
Cremation held in JOHN FLYNN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 2630 E. State St., Hermitage.
