William  Wilson


William "Bill" S. Wilson, of Brookfield, passed away Saturday (May 18, 2019). He was 87.
Bill was born April 28, 1932, in Sharon, a son to Ralph W. and Helen (Frew) Wilson.
He was a 1951 graduate of Sharon High School and an Army veteran.
Bill worked as a machine operator for Commercial Intertech, Youngstown. In addition, he worked as a custodian and bus driver for Brookfield Local School District.
Bill was a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon, and belonged to the Buhl Club.
Survivors include: children, Tina M. Wilson, Brookfield, Guy A. Himilla, Seattle, Connie Korsmaros (Barry), Clearwater, Fla., and Billie Hernandes, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Templeton, New Wilmington, and Judy Stiver, Omaha, Texas; and beloved pup-pup, Sam.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; great-granddaughter, Avery Faye Hatton; and brothers, Charles and Eric Wilson.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
