I'm so sorry for your loss, Mel. I know it's such a hard time for you and your family. Thinking of good times of her on the golf course where she clearly was so happy, or another memory will help later when it's not so tough on you and your family. If you need anything, let me know.

Mike and family, our condolences for your loss. Such a strong talented woman. I was glad I got to meet and talk to her a few times. I felt I knew her mostly in conversation with you, Mike. No greater love than a husband who brags and honors his wife in every casual conversation. So sorry.

Cookie, my life-long best friend. We spent many a day talking, laughing, crying, or just enjoying each other’s company. Cookie was especially comforting and thoughtful after I lost my husband, Larry. We always talked and she made sure I never spent any holiday alone. You are loved and will be missed beyond measure. So many years of treasured memories will remain in my heart until we meet again.

My deepest sympathy to Mike and the family . What fond memories of growing up on Orchard Street. I remember Cookie’s sweet giggle and smile. Her mother referred to Cookie as their “miracle girl” and that she surely was.

My sons and I will always remember the great Christmas Eves spent at Cookie and her mother’s house. Always an abundance of food, decorations, gifts, love and laughter. Those memories will forever be remembered and treasured. Cookie will always be in our hearts and stories of the past. May she Rest In Peace and be comforted by her Mother and niece who preceeded her in death. May God grant her everlasting peace .
