Virginia P. Miller


Virginia P. "Ginny" Miller, 83, of Hempfield Township, formerly of Transfer, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019, at The Grove in Greenville after an extended illness.
She was born May 30, 1935, in Karns City, the daughter of the late Burton W. and Grace L. (Miller) Kelly.
She was a 1953 graduate of Grove City High School.
Ginny was the head secretary for Reimold Brothers Auction Service for more than 30 years, retiring in 2003.
She was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Smith and her husband, Steve, of Greenville, and Cynthia Small and her husband, Kevin, of Transfer; a sister, Esther Mravec and her husband, George, of Elkhart, Ind.; two brothers, Donald Kelly and his wife, Barbara, of Slippery Rock, and Clair Kelly and his wife, Joyce, of Elkhart, Ind.; and five grandchildren, Sonya Wales, Crystal Brannan, Joshua Small, Sarah Aicher and John Aicher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller, whom she married June 9, 1956. He passed away on Sept. 17, 2009.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Ginny was preceded in death by a son, Eddie W. Miller; and three brothers, Burton and Ronald Kelly and an infant brother.

Calling hours: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday (4-18-19) and 10 a.m. until time of service Friday (4-19-19) at FLYNN FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY Inc., 2630 E. State St., Hermitage.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Aaron Lego officiating. Friends may sign the guestbook at
