Violet Speelman, 70, of Transfer, formerly of Hartford, Ohio, passed away in her residence unexpectedly on Oct. 16, 2017, at 7:20 p.m.
She was born in Fowler, Pa., on Feb. 2, 1947, to John and Phyllis (Powell) Ferry, and attended Warren, Ohio schools.
She was a housekeeper at Travel Lodge in Ohio and a homemaker.
Violet enjoyed playing cards, computer games and cross stitching, and she attended Crossroads Fellowship Church.
Violet is survived by her companion, Clyde Lee Oller of Transfer; daughter Helen Bozzo and her husband Steve of Transfer; son John Speelman Jr. of Warren, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Stohler; and two sisters, Alice Henry and Ila Sprankle.
