Thomas Donald Pollock, 68, of Bokeelia, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017.
He was born Nov. 4, 1949, in Greenville, a son of Marjorie M. Pollock and John A. Pollock.
After graduating in 1967 from Hickory High School, Hermitage, he joined the U.S. Army and advanced to being a paratrooper in the elite 82nd Airborne Infantry Division. Tom volunteered to serve in the Vietnam War.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Karen Pollock of Bokeelia; a sister, Janis Sincek of Columbus, Ohio; three children, Jeremy Sees (Tammy), of Hermitage, James Pollock (Alexis) of Cape Coral, Fla., and Marjorie Albert (Colt) of Greensburg; eight grandchildren, Alexa, Austin, Seth, Angie, Ryan, Lucas, Olivia and Lyla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gary.
Tom was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend to all. He touched so many people throughout his life. We will always remember all of the wonderful stories that he told us. He loved fishing, "riding his menstral cycle," and pulling pranks. As Tom would always say, "It's truly a jungle out there gang."
