Sharon L. Ferry, 59, of Hermitage, passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2019, in her home.
Ms. Ferry was born Aug. 5, 1959, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Robert J. Spohn and Rosalie A. Curtis and attended Reynolds High School.
Sharon was employed as a certified nurse's assistant at Sharon Regional Medical Center and worked as a waitress at the former South Pymatuning Restaurant.
Sharon was a member of Oakland Avenue United Methodist Church, Sharon, and attended Hour of Power Full Gospel Tabernacle, Farrell.
She was very active in the Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) foundation of Mercer County. Sharon also enjoyed spending time with her family and going to casinos and yard sales.
She married Steven D. Cresswell. He passed away Feb. 1, 2011. She was engaged to Joseph Ayers, who survives in Hermitage.
She is survived by two daughters, Caitlin L. Ferry and Jennifer L. Cresswell, both of Sharon; her sister, Cheryl Moyer of Sharon; seven grandchildren, Gage, Piper and Abigail Brucker, Caleb Gurrera, Andrew Osborne, Koycee Sedgwick and Kaylee Sedwick Davis; two great-grandchildren, Evra and Evan; a niece, Kristin Moyer; and her former husband, William Ferry of Mercer.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Cresswell II and Justin R. Ferry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
