Samuel Hickok, 60, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at his residence.
Sam was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Butler, the son of the late Hugh J. and Jean M. Hickok.
Sam graduated from Slippery Rock High School. He was most recently employed at Woodings Industrial as a machinist.
Sam loved his Harley Davidson and enjoyed riding it when his health permitted. He did all his own work on his bikes and was a trade machinist for more than 40 years. Spending time with his family brought great joy to Sam.
Sam took great pride in being a former lieutenant and EMT, running calls with the Grove City Rescue Squad before it disbanded.
Loved ones left to cherish Samuel's memory are his son, Caleb Hickok and his wife, Megan, of Grove City; his brothers Paul Hickok and his wife, Sharon, of Prospect and Jim Hickok of Rocky Springs Wyo.
Also surviving is his former wife, Margie Evans and her husband, Scott; his nieces, Olivia Nicklas and her husband, Cody, and their three children, and Haley Wiles and her husband, Jason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Jean Hickok.

Service: Memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday (12-14-17) at JAMISON FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville, with Pastor Donna Yanosy of Friendship Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock, officiating.
