Ryan A.'s Story
Ryan A. Stambaugh of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017, in the emergency room of the Sharon Regional Health System. He was 20.
Ryan was born Jan. 17, 1997, in Greenville, a son of Randy Pegg and Barbara (Stambaugh) Smith.
He was a 2015 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, and previously attended Indiana (Pa.) Area Senior High School.
Following high school, Ryan began working at GetGo Cafe and Market, Hermitage, and had recently enrolled in courses at PTI, Pittsburgh.
He was proud to have earned a certificate of completion from the Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet Summer Youth Program in Indiana, Pa.
Ryan enjoyed watching movies and playing video games. He looked forward to spending the summer months at his grandparents' house and visiting family members out of town.
Ryan loved his family dearly and never hesitated when given an opportunity to help them with any tasks around their homes.
Surviving are: his mother, Barbara Smith and her husband Larry, Hermitage; his father, Randy Pegg and his wife April, Brookfield; grandparents, John and Pamela Lenz, West Middlesex, and Robert and Cathy Stambaugh, Weedville, Pa.; two stepsisters, Emily Smith, Bradford, Pa., and Danielle Smith, Ford City, Pa.; a half brother, Blake Smith, Hermitage; four stepbrothers, Jake Smith, Virginia; Devon Smith, Ford City; and Trevor and Lane Pegg, Brookfield; and a great uncle, David Smith and his wife Janice, Kittanning, Pa.
