Rosemarie Macri, 73, of Grove City, passed away on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie, following a week-long illness.
She was born on May 5, 1944, in Pittsburgh, to William A. and Anna (Casale) Rossi. She married John A. Macri Jr. on Aug. 18, 2001.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing poetry, working with flowers, gardening, watching butterflies, singing and most of all spending time and taking care of her family.
Rosemarie was a member of The Church of The Beloved Disciple, Grove City.
She is survived by her husband, John, at home, five children, Donna Marie Contarino and husband Bill, of Annapolis; Raymond A. Papalia and wife Brenda, of McCallister, Okla.; Debbi Rivera, of Broward Co., Fla.; Dee Dee Ellett and husband Joe, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Dominic Macri, Volant; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Joanne Rossi, and a brother, Joseph "Bobby" Rossi, both of Grove City.
Her parents, two sons, Robert Adam Papalia and Pasquale "Jr." Papalia, a grandson, Raymond Anthony Papalia, Jr., a sister, Anita Rossi and a brother, Willie Rossi preceded Rosemarie in death.

Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday (2-22-18) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday (2-23-18) at Church of Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center St. Ext., Grove City.
Service: Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m Friday in the church with Fr. Michael Allison as celebrant.
Burial: Crestview Memorial Park.
