Ronald Prezioso, 90, of Farrell, passed away on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at 11:44 p.m. at St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage.
Born in Farrell on Dec. 14, 1927, Ron was the son of the late Michael (Prezioso) Prince and Madeline DelLosso Prezioso.
Nicknamed "Speed," he was a standout football player for Farrell High, graduating in 1945. He went on to play semi-pro football and baseball. Ron served in the Army Medical Corps in Japan from 1946 to 1947 and returned home to work as a furnace operator in the annealing department at Sharon Steel. He retired in 1983 after 36 years of service.
A member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Ron enjoyed golfing, vegetable gardening and especially flower gardening, and experimented with a variety of flowers in his yard every year.
Ron is survived by many nieces and nephews; and three sisters-in-law, Virginia Prezioso, Wealthy Prince and Sally Prezioso.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Rotell; and four brothers: Ralph, Richard and Michael Prezioso and Rudy Prince.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, with Fr. Matthew Ruyechan officiating.
Interment: St. Anthony Cemetery.
