As a youngster I watched Ron's generation race at the local tracks and those men were legends and bigger than life. Later in life I had the honor of racing against many of these men and getting to know them. Many were a major disappointment, Ron certainly wasn't. He was a mans man and I hold the time that I knew him in high esteem.
