Richard "Rick"'s Story
Richard A. "Rick" Grande of Sharon passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, in Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Ga. He was 61.
Mr. Grande was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Sharon, a son of Fred J. and Theresa (Trotta) Grande. He was a lifelong area resident and a 1974 graduate of Sharon High School.
Rick was a simple man and was a truck driver for 25 years to provide for his family.
He was of the Catholic faith. Rick was very unselfish and always put his wife, son and others before himself.
Surviving are his wife, the former Brenda Shaffer, whom he married on July 16, 1988; a son, Andrew Grande, Sharon; two sisters, Tina Fitzwilliams and her husband Tom, Florence, Ariz.; and Renee Kloss, Sharon; a brother, Fred Grande and his wife Linda, Girard, Ohio; and his mother-in-law, Lois Shaffer, Sharon.
His parents preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family for a charity of their choice.
